How To Register

Registrations for the 2018 season will begin in the new year.  Please check back for updates or follow us on Twitter or Facebook.

Rugby Canada only accepts registrations and payments online.  All new players will have to create an account.  Once your account has been created you can begin registering.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the registrar found on our contact page.

CHANGES FOR THE 2017 SEASON: Rugby Canada will only be offering ONE visitor two-week pass per season per player.  If you choose to upgrade your membership to full Rugby Canada will apply your Rugby Canada fees towards the full-time registration.

Other Notes:

age grade rules are based on the calendar year. Example: a 19 year old will turn 20 before the end of 2015 (1995 birth year) — this player will not be able to register as U19 and will only have senior as an option. Be aware that dispensations (moving up or down age grades) are possible but require some paperwork and cannot be done directly online. These are handled on a case by case basis. If this applies to you, please contact the registrar found on our contact page.

INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS also have paperwork that needs to be completed in advance of registration. You need a player release from your country (please contact your country’s governing rugby board) as well as proof of medical insurance while you are in Canada.  It is best to have your paperwork completed BEFORE you leave your country, as it can be difficult and time consuming to get the correct forms and signatures in order for the release to be done properly.
